Treatment of Concealed Penis Using Liposuction Technique : A Case Report

Abstract

Concealed penis is a congenital anomaly in which the dartos fascia has not developed into the normal elastic configuration restraining the extension of the penis and holding it beneath the symphysis. especially in obese infants or boys, the penis
appears extremely short or absent due to fat deposit in the pubic area. Liposuction is the new, simple and safe method of surgical removal of fat deposits with the use of blunt cannulas assisted by suction via small incisions. Here, we reported
successful correction accomplished by combining conventional surgical method with liposuction of pubic fat pad in 4 years old patient.
